Sinjido Wind Farm Project

Island Power Investment Co., Ltd. is developing the Sinjido wind farm in South Korea. The Project has a total installed capacity of 17.4 MW comprising five (5) Siemens-Gamesa G132-3.465, 3.465MW wind turbines at 114 meters hub height.

Tractebel Engineering GmbH was assigned by the Island Power Investment Co., Ltd.  as Owner’s Engineer to perform an assessment of the technical and financial aspects of the Sinjido wind farm project from the development stage to the completion of the construction period.

The scope of works of Tractebel as Owner’s Engineer included: i) Wind Resource Assessment; ii) Contracting support for TSA and LTSA; iii) Construction Monitoring and site visits; and iv) tailor-made construction progress reports.
