EPA PS's mission is to create a world-class scientific and technological cluster on the Plateau de Saclay, south of Paris. Its objectives are to develop an attractive area that favours quality of life, study and work while thinking about travel and interconnections. The area classified as an Operation of National Interest (OIN) covers nearly 7,700 hectares.

The southern part of the Plateau de Saclay (communes of Gif sur Yvette, Orsay, Palaiseau) concentrates a large part of this cluster. At the end of the project, the site will be home to more than 16,000 students and doctoral students, 8,000 researchers and teacher-researchers and approximately 25,000 workers. Eventually, the South Saclay Plateau site will be served by line 18 of the Grand Paris metro.
Tractebel is the holder of the framework contract for "owner's engineers for traffic and road infrastructure studies on the scale of the OIN Paris Saclay" for the EPA Paris-Saclay.
Within this framework, Tractebel is carrying out mobility and traffic studies on the various territories of the EPA-PS. Tractebel acts as an expert for the project owner (EPA PS) and the various project managers, using traffic modelling and various quantitative analysis tools.
