The Albert II tunnel links Boulevard du Jardin Exotique and Boulevard Rainier III. The tunnel, which is 1,700 m long, has one traffic lane and is equipped with the latest safety technologies. The tunnel can handle up to 13,000 vehicles per day. The direction of traffic in the tunnel can be reversed if required.
